WP e-Commerce, when the ‘Same as Billing’ checkbox will not display on the checkout page!
Strange little problem that drove me mad
When you go to the WP e-Commerce Settings/Store/Checkout Tab at the top under miscellaneous Yes No radio buttons for “Enable Shipping Same as Billing Option:” Today I had a user ask me why when this was set to Yes the “Same as Billing: checkbox was not displayed above the Shipping Address form on the checkout page?
Well it took me a really long time to find the problem so I am posting the solution.
- Go to Settings> Store > Checkout >
At the top of your form is “Your billing/contact details”, the “Type” should be Heading and next
make sure the “Unique Names” field for it is set to > “Select a Unique Name” in the drop down list - On the same tab in your form look for “Shipping Address”, the “Type” should be Heading and next is the important part!
Make sure the “Unique Names” field is set to > “delivertoafriend” in the drop down list
This is how it is by default, but when someone like your client changes it, it is not something you notice. Click the image for a larger view.
